Acta Tabacaria Sinica (ATS) is an Open Access journal. All articles published in ATS are freely accessible to anyone with an internet connection, without subscription fees. Publishing an article in ATS requires no processing charge and the publication costs are entirely free.


Open Access policy

Acta Tabacaria Sinica is an open access journal which means that all content is freely available without charge to the user or his/her institution. Users are allowed to read, download, copy, distribute, print, search, or link to the full texts of the articles, or use them for any other lawful purpose, without asking prior permission from the publisher or the author. This is in accordance with the BOAI definition of open access.

 

Permissions

All paper published in Acta Tabacaria Sinica is open-access and distributed under the terms of the Creative Commons Attribution License 4.0 (CC BY 4.0)  (http://creativecommons.org/licenses/by/4.0/), which was developed to facilitate open access, namely, free immediate access to and unrestricted reuse of original works of all types. 


Peer-review policy

All submitted manuscripts are subject to strict peer review process consisting of two or more reviewers with relevant expertise. Upon receiving their advice, editors may decide to:

(1) accept the manuscript, with or without minor revision.

(2) invite the authors to revise the manuscript to address specific concerns before a final decision is reached.

(3) reject the manuscript, typically on grounds of specialist interest, lack of novelty, insufficient conceptual advance or major technical and/or interpretative problems.

Final acceptance will be made by the Editor-in-Chief.
