Improvement of tipping quality of hard-shaped filter cigarettes

Abstract [Objective] To solve the quality defects such as the dyeing of the end face of the filter, the burr of the tipping paper, and the horizontal stripes of the tipping paper when the hard-shaped filter tip is attached.[Method] Optimize the filter rod hardness, forming paper weight, tipping paper ink temperature resistance and adhesion fastness, reduce the width of the cutting drum wheel volume, increase the number of negative pressure suction holes, and install a filter cutter cleaning device.[Results] ① The end face of the filter was stained to 5 minutes after the curling before improvement to no longer completely stained; ② The proportion of burr cigarettes of tipping paper was reduced from 10.8% to 0.01‰; ③The proportion of horizontal cigarettes of tipping paper is reduced from 1.5% to 0.03‰.[Conclusion] This method can provide a reference for the optimization of the process of industrial hard modeling filter rods in production.
